SALLY BERESFORD ANTIQUES & FRENCH FARMHOUSE TABLES – Moss Vale
An experience not to be missed, the legendary Sally Beresford collections now call Mount Ashby Vineyard home. A beautifully restored old dairy is the ideal setting to sit around one of Sally’s inimitable French Farmhouse tables, fashioned from seasoned timbers, and enjoy a home made soup or charcuterie plate with a glass of wine from the cellar door. Also on site is the relocated, Davis Produce Store (circa 1918), showcasing C17-19 French Provincial and English Georgian antiques and objets d’art.

Much-loved by local bowerbirds, Dirty Janes is the best for vintage with a fabulous ‘recycled rags’ clothing salon. Namesake ‘Dirty’ Jane Dumphrey was the daughter of a ‘rag & bone’ man from Northern Island. She brought her trading trash & treasure to regional NSW back in 1840, arriving as a convict on the Surrey 1 for stealing an etched Ostrich egg. Jane died in 1883 but the spirit of her eclectic collections is alive and well in this fantastic emporium of bric-a-brac, quality home furnishings, antique furniture and more. Right next door is the Antique Market with some 70 independent dealers offering everything a collector might crave.
