For those partial to traditional Christmas fare, winter is the perfect time to indulge in that festive feast usually reserved for our warmer months. And so, over two weekends, we celebrated Christmas in July at The Loch.
Guests were greeted with a coupe of hot-spiced mulled wine by our roaring outside fireplace, then headed indoors to enjoy laden tasting plates followed by the likes of sage-crusted Thirlmere birds, slow-roasted Loch lamb and yummy roast veggies with all the trimmings. We finished with chocolate Christmas logs, mince pies and, of course, plum pudding.
As with all events at The Loch, the produce used was either fresh from our own farm or locally sourced, supporting Southern Highlands producers.
