Fungi Feast at The Loch is a seven-course degustation that celebrates truffles and all manner of exotic fungi including those from two local truffière, creating a wildly aromatic and immensely entertaining long lunch with the growers.
Highlights of the decadent 2017 menu included moorish mushroom shots with parsley oil and Li Sun deep fried enoki; homemade gnocchi with sage and burnt butter and Yelverton truffle shavings and lamb shank ragu with Epicure truffle risotto.
An impressive line-up of local producers took part, including Dr Noel Arrold of Li Sun Exotic Mushrooms, who generously shared their expertise on mushrooms and truffles.
This is a premium annual event not to be missed in 2018.
